Compounded Ozempic and Wegovy

Semaglutide is a compounded version of the brand named Ozepic and Wegovy. This medication is a GLP-1 peptide that works on the GLP-1 receptor site, meaning it only interacts with one receptor site to produce a desired effect. It only has one mode of action. It works by making you feel satiated or full faster. It increases insulin production, cuts sugar cravings, stabilizes blood sugar and supports a healthy metabolism.  It is effective for weight loss though, not as effective as Tirzepatide.

Compounded GLP-1's are a more affordable option for patients who either don't have health insurance coverage or patients whose health insurance will not cover the brand name options. Compounded GLP-1's prescribed by our providers contain the same active ingredients in the brand names listed here: Victoza, Ozempic/Wegovy, Zepbound/Mounjaro.

It's important to disclose your medical history including pre-existing medical conditions. Our healthcare professionals will evaluate your health status and provide guidance on whether GLP-1's are a suitable option given your pre-existing conditions. As with any weight loss plan, patient should be in close communication with their primary care provider to discuss all new medications prescribed.

As with any medication, GLP-1's may have potential side effects, including nausea, vomiting, and injection site reactions. It's crucial to discuss any concerns or potential side effects with your healthcare provider.

Monthly subscriptions are able to be cancelled at any time prior to the next scheduled draw date. There are no refunds unless payment was processed in error. Month-to -months plans are available for an additional $50.

Higher doses are also available for an additional fee, which will be discussed on an as needed basis during your visit.

On average people taking GLP-1’s can lose up to 15% – 20% of their body weight over time. Healthy weight loss is 1 to 2 lbs a week. Keep in mind, everyone is different and your weight loss will be individualized to you based on your consistency with the program, metabolism, diet, and exercise routine.

Generally speaking, you can expect your package to arrive within 2 to 3 business days from the time of your appointment. With subscription, your orders will be automatically placed every 30 days to ensure timely delivery and that doses are missed. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time prior to the next draw date. Once payment is made, there will be no refund unless payment was taken in error.

Patients with a family history of medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome. A personal history of pancreatitis, anorexia, renal disease, currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
